Tisno

Located partly on the island of Murter, and partly on land which separates the narrow sea strait, from which it owes its name, Tisno is the youngest village on the island. Connected by a drawbridge, that during the summer months is raised twice a day. A typical Dalmatian village of stone houses and streets, spacious squares, lush Mediterranean vegetation with a long promenade and a few taverns and restaurants offer everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The sea archipelago is perfect for all types of water sports. Tisno is a religious centre, the votive pilgrimage to Our Lady of Karavaja means that believers come from all over the dioceses of Zadar and Šibenik.
