Lokva Rogoznica
LOKVA ROGOZNICA
Lokva Rogoznica is a small village about 7 km from Omis. It is located beneath the mountain of Mosor along the Adriatic highway.
The area was first settled in the year 1231.
The village is known for its pebble and sandy beaches and it offers all the necessary facilities for a quiet family vacation. The village has several restaurants, stores, exchange offices and a post office.
Each year in August, the village organizes a fiesta -“Fishermen nights.” It is a famous local event with plenty of entertainment for everyone.
For those interested in more active holiday and nightlife, the nearby city of Split and towns of Omis and Makarska can offer just that.
