Peroj

Peroj is situated about 1 km from the tourist center Fažana. Although it is a small tourist resort but also an interesting archaeological site from Roman times. Particularly suitable for those who want to spend a holiday away from the noisy tourist resorts by the sea.
In 1645 settled here 15 Montenegrin families fleeing from the Turks who live here today, have retained their original language, customs and beliefs.
Local Orthodox Church saint Spiridiona was built by new settlers in the 17th century.

Surrounded by a beautiful pebble beaches, which are supplemented by concrete places for sunbathing. The sea is crystal clear and azure blue. Gradual entry into the sea is particularly suitable for children and non-swimmers.
