Molat is an island covered with maquis and pine forests and is an ideal destination for hermits and those seeking hiking treks with a scent of Mediterranean vegetation Many bays are a frequent destination for boaters and sailors.
King Edward VIII, in the company of Wallis Simpson, visited the island on his Adriatic cruises in 1936.
Molat is one of northern Dalmatian islands in the Zadar archipelago.
It is characterized by a diversity of bays, channels, beaches and caves. The island is covered with grove and maquis, leaving an impression of eternal greenery.
