ISLAND ŠIPAN
It is the largest island in the archipelago Elafiti in southern Dalmatia.
Area 16.5 square kilometers, and is located 17 km northwest of Dubrovnik.
Islands stretch two limestone mountains, among which is a fertile karts valley, where the olive trees, vines, fruits and others. Olive oil from the island of Sipan, together with oil from island Lopud considered the highest quality.
The climate is mild, very favorable for the cultivation of a holiday. Sipan has about 500 inhabitants. Most of them live in two coastal cities: Sipanska Luka and Sudurad. Both towns are also popular as a resort, are linked asphalt road.
