Privlaka

Privlaka is an idyllic tourist and fishing village in the Zadar riviera. Situated on a peninsula between Nin and the island of Vir, near the historical city of Zadar, it is lapped by the sea on three sides.
The air is full of the scents of aromatic herbs and the medicinal black mud offers a cure for health problems such as asthma and arthritis.
The beautiful sandy beaches, secret coves, warm shallow sea are a paradise for family holidays. But that's not all you need to know about why you should come to this place. It is famous for its valuable citizens - the Sabunjar (stone workers). They were very famous for engaging in the painstaking work of taking out stones from the sea and building the white city of Zadar.
Many wells, of which the most celebrated is Sokolar, are scattered throughout the town and the archaeological findings testify to the early life in this region.
