Pirovac
PIROVAC
Pirovac is a picturesque Dalmatian town and, along with Primošten, Vodice and Murter, the most important tourist centre of the Šibenik Rivera.
The Pirovac Bay abounds in beautiful bays and numerous pebble beaches, and the nearby fairy-like island Sveti Stjepan (Saint Stephen) has remnants of an ancient monastery.
The southern leg of the Pirovac bay, Makirina, is a natural bathing site with curative mud whose quality surpasses that found in all other such places known in Croatia.
Two national parks are nearby - Kornati and Krka, and Vransko jezero Nature Park is only 5 km away.
