Stara Baška

Stara Baška - There are many towns on Krk island, and Stara Baška is one of the most beautiful. The town is located on the south coast of the island.
Stara also means old, so "Old Baška" is another name for the town. It is one of the many small fishing villages throughout Croatia. The quiet town offers great beauty, and one of the most enjoyable beaches in Croatia. From the beach, you can enjoy the sea breeze, or admire the stone cliffs surrounding Stara Baška.
You will be doing plenty of outdoor activity though, so make sure you’re prepared for hiking and walking.
If you’re coming by car, be warned that the streets are quite slim. You’d be better off going through town on foot.
Stara Baška will give anyone a peaceful place of solitude. As for Croatia itself, the original inhabitants founded it back in the 7th century. The terrain is diverse, and includes plains, lakes, rolling hills, densely wooded mountains, and rocky coastlines. The country is also famous for its many national parks.
For many tourists, this country, the included Kvarner Bay, and the small town of Stara Baška have been a place of relaxation for many years.
