The house is situated in the heart of the village Betina on the island of Murter. The island is connected with the land with a bridge so no ferry is needed to get here.
Parking ensured 200m away from the house since the old village centre is a pedestrian zone with narrow, stone-paved, authentic Dalmatian streets.
Betina is a small picturesque village on the island of Murter famous for its fishermen and a home of a famous shipyard for premium wooden ships. Climate is usually heavenly sunny May-October with warm sea temperatures. Luckily, there are a lot of pine forests around so shade is easily found :) From Betina it is easy to roam around the whole island of Murter, find hidden shores & beaches away from the noise.
Excursions to national parks Kornati or Krka are happening every day, bike tours through the wilderness of the island are much fun and sea is turquoise.
There are several local restaurants with affordable prices and good home-made food around. You have beaches all around (sandy, rock, pebble...), enough pine tree shade for those not longing to bath in the sun :)
In the nearby village Murter (1 km) there are cocktail bars & discos working all night in the season for those wanting to party. Betina on the other hand is quite a calm place.

About destination Betina[hide][show]
BETINA
Thanks to its location and well- kept architecture, Betina is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the Adriatic.
The central historical part of Betina was built on the eastern slopes of Cape Artić, located on the northern gate to the Murter passage.
In the course of time, the town grew bigger until it reached the bay of Zdrače, where Betina and Murter joined. Nowadays there is no visible border between these two towns and the only thing separating one place from the other is - the name plate.
The town is overlooked by a bell tower of the parish church of St. Francis of Assisi, built in 1736. Work of Ivan Skok, a master-builder from Šibenik.
There is a whole web of small streets leading from the church to the old town core.
