SLATINE
Slatine, a small village with harbor on the northern coast of the island of Ciovo, 6 km southeast of Trogir.
Slatine has recently become a small tourist picturesque place with many still unknown values. In Slatine there are many beautiful coves with some of the most beautiful beaches of this area, the most famous beach is Kava beach. Kava beach is more secluded beach without homes or buildings in the area. To reach it, you must pass through the village of Slatine and then drive for more 4km to the east, with mostly gravel, and sometimes, very rough road.
The centre of the village (a small fishermen port) is where all important summer happenings take place such as “fisherman's fests".
Slatine has all the necessities you might need: a post office, medical clinic, exchange office, restaurants, and supermarkets.
The restaurants offer the Dalmatian food of the highest quality, the beach bar Lumbrelin organizes every-day-parties with different performers.
